Audrey Bunnell
Audrey Bunnell (she/her) is a senior studying Sustainability (BS) with a minor in Sustainable Food Systems. She recently completed a USDA NextGen Internship with Slow Food Phoenix and currently works as a Food Systems Aide at the Swette Center for Sustainable Food Systems at ASU, where she contributes to the Center's marketing and communications efforts through the development of promotional materials, event planning, photography, and blog writing. Audrey's interest in food systems stems from her deep love of cooking and gardening, and she is particularly passionate about the preservation of agricultural biodiversity through native and heirloom seeds. As a member of Barrett, the Honors College, she is currently pursuing an honors thesis that investigates and documents using visual and narrative methods the agroecological, nutritional, and sustainable roles that native beans play in the Indigenous agricultural systems of the Southwestern United States. As she completes her bachelor’s degree, Audrey is also pursuing an Accelerated Master’s degree in Sustainable Solutions.
