Kevin Wein was born and raised in Toronto, Canada and attended York University where he obtained a BA in Political Science with a focus on international relations. Kevin also has degrees from George Washington University and the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law. Kevin is currently a judge with the Maricopa County Superior Court. Kevin's interest in Slow Food Phoenix began shortly after he moved to Phoenix and saw the Slow Food logo on a sticker in the window of Pizzeria Bianco. Confused because service was always pretty quick at the restaurant, Kevin began researching the Slow Food movement, which led to a deep interest in our food system and a commitment to the values of good, clean and fair food. Kevin has a passion for public service and Slow Food Phoenix is an opportunity to combine this passion with his love of food and his desire to improve the food system in his community.
