Elora Bevacqua

Elora Bevacqua is a student at ASU completing a Bachelor of Science in Sustainability followed by a Masters of Sustainability Solutions. At ASU she is a student worker for the Swette Center for Sustainable Food Systems and is the Vice President of Gardens at ASU. Elora is also involved in the Maricopa County Food System Coalition. Growing and cooking food has been a passion of hers for as long as she can remember. Food is the convenor of societies and she appreciates Slow Food’s mission to ensure everyone has access to good, clean, and fair food. Elora is originally from rural Arizona and produced food with her family growing up. She enjoys farming and is an active participant in WWOOF. In her career, she hopes to work with governments to build food systems that support both people and the planet. Elora is excited to promote Slow Food Phoenix and build connections to the organization through the communities she is involved in.
